(SO PLEASE, no links to as if it's a catch all answer.)Ĥ-checking to ensure that Punkbuster is running and allowed as a service.ĥ-removing the punkbuster file from the RO2 file, and revalidating the cache through steamĪll of these were accomplished using a restart after every change. Here is what we've tried:ġ-Uninstalling and reinstalling Punkbuster via the PBsetup exe located at evenbalance.Ģ-Uninstalling and reinstalling via the PBsvc.exe found at evenbalance.ģ-Updating punkbuster via the PBsetup using the listed RO2 game in the PB program. Usually when Punkbuster is working, it runs both punkbusterA and punkbusterB as services, but when he logs into a server, PunkbusterB shuts down. This results in him being kicked from 95% of the servers. So my brother is running windows XP and for whatever reason, whenever he starts RO2 it stops his Punkbuster B process.
